Our office
Notary office Spier & Hazenberg is one of the old city offices of Amsterdam, located for more than 85 years in the city center, between the Pijp and the canal belt, opposite De Nederlandsche Bank, with the Albert Cuypmarkt and the Utrechtsestraat within walking distance. The office is easily accessible by public transport.
The office has an extensive, diverse and (partly) international practice, which includes all notarial legal areas. The work is divided into three sections: real estate, family law and corporate law. There are two notaries, one assistant notary, seven candidate notaries and a total of approximately thirty employees in an informal atmosphere. Cooperation is our top priority and there is plenty of room for personal development. The office is located in a modernized, classic building. We value a good work-life balance. Working overtime is not the norm.
Is the Real Estate department at Notary Office Spier en Hazenberg something for you?
The real estate department with a team of ten people is responsible for, among other things, advising, drawing up purchase agreements, deeds of transfer and mortgages.
Supporting the department includes processing quotation requests, agenda management, communication with clients, requesting and administratively processing documents from banks, homeowners’ associations, real estate agents and (mortgage) advisors. Drawing up (purchase) agreements, draft deeds and other file handling is also one of the development opportunities.
Our office attaches great importance to collegiality and easy exchange of knowledge between its employees.
We are looking for
A notary employee Real Estate
  • You are able to handle matters independently and as part of a team.
  • You preferably have some work experience at a notary office, but we also invite a starter with a relevant MBO or HBO education and demonstrable affinity with real estate to apply.  You are proficient in Dutch and English, both orally and in writing.
  • You are accurate, independent, curious, solution-oriented and service-oriented.

An experienced Candidate Notary Real Estate
  • You are able to handle matters independently and as part of a team.
  • You independently conduct discussions with national and international clients and have good communication skills.
  • You are authorized to act as an observer.
  • You have several years of work experience as a candidate notary real estate.
  • You are accurate, independent, solution-oriented and decisive.

The family law department employs four candidate civil-law notaries with support. In addition to regular matters, such as wills, relationship property law agreements, living wills, declarations of authority and estate management, the family law practice of our office also includes more complex matters. Part of the practice also includes files with an international component that often require special attention.
We are looking for
An experienced candidate civil-law notary in family law
  • You are able to handle cases independently and as part of a team.
  • You independently conduct discussions with national and international clients and have good communication skills
  • You have several years of work experience as a candidate civil-law notary in family law and may have already completed further training in the field of estate planning.
  • You are accurate, independent, solution-oriented and decisive.
