Notary office Spier & Hazenberg is looking for a notarial assistant in the real estate department.

Activities

– In a team of colleagues you provide support in the real estate department.
– You ensure the completion of passed deeds, submission to the land registry, updating the directory, the sending of documents, the finishing of files and you support the various checks and controls to be carried out.
– You sometimes support the reception.
– You have a lot of contact with colleagues and come into contact with all the various elements of our notary office.

Expectations regarding the position

– You are accurate and know how to keep an overview of the various activities.
– Preferably you have some experience working in a notary office.
– You have an excellent command of the Dutch language (oral and written), and the English language well.
– You feel comfortable working in a partly digital work environment.
– The position is for approximately 24 hours (3 days) per week.

Spier & Hazenberg is one of Amsterdam’s oldest city offices, located in the center of Amsterdam for over 80 years, between the Pijp and the canal belt, right opposite De Nederlandsche Bank, with the Albert Cuypmarkt and Utrechtsestraat around the corner. The office is easily accessible by public transport.

The office has an extensive, diverse and (partly) international practice, covering all notarial legal areas, divided into three sections: real estate, family law and corporate law.

There are 3 notaries, 5 candidate notaries out of a total of approximately 30 employees, in an informal atmosphere where there is good cooperation and a lot can be learned. The office is located in a modernized classic building and works with the most modern notarial IT applications.

Reception employee of a notary office

Notary office Spier & Hazenberg is looking for an employee at the reception of the office.

Activities

– You work at a reception desk on the ground floor of the office, you ensure the reception of clients and you are the face of the office.
– You manage the modern telephone exchange, you ensure the transfer of incoming telephone calls, the forwarding of general e-mails and you supervise incoming and outgoing mail items and documents for couriers.
– You are responsible for the handling and processing of ID data and other documents.
– You take care of the reception in the broadest sense of the word.
– You have a lot of contact with clients and colleagues and come into contact with all the various elements of our notary office.

Expectations regarding the position

– You are representative and enjoy a dynamic working environment with a lot of client contact.
– You are communicative and know how to accept, assess and forward incoming telephone calls to the right colleague quickly and friendly.
– You are stress-resistant and know how to keep an overview of the various activities that sometimes occur in quick succession.
– You have a good command of the Dutch language and the English language.

– The position is for approximately 3 or 4 days a week.
